The highest source of amino acids is the fruits and vegetables. Vegetables and the fruits exceed meet in the amino acids content. The amino acids are the content found in greens and are imperative in our bodies. When we take food containing amino acids, they are used to synthesize proteins and oxidized to carbon and urea as sources of energy. Leafy greens are the primary sources of amino acids. Vegetables include Arugula, Bok Choy, cabbage, collard greens, endive, and broccoli. Fruits are oranges, bananas, apple, passion fruit, and paw paw. Vegetables and fruits are available in many varieties each having different levels of nutrients like amino acids.

Vegetables and fruits can get categorized into organic groups; leafy greens includes lettuce, silver beet, and spinach. Cruciferous includes cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli. Morrow is the group of pumpkin, zucchini, and cucumber. The root is a group that comprises of potato, yam, and sweet potato. There is another group also called succulent plant stem. They consist of celery and the asparagus. The groups of fruits include; apples and pears is one group while citrus fruits include grapefruits, oranges, limes, and mandarins. Berries are the family comprising of strawberries, raspberries, kiwi fruit and passion fruits.

Fruits and vegetables are the primary sources of essential nutrients that are necessary for the body functions. They contain, apart from the amino as mentioned earlier acids, they contain vitamins, minerals and some chemicals essential for tissue development. The vitamins in the vegetables and fruits are useful in the development of immune system. Taking a lot of greens may boost the immunity hence preventing major diseases. Eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables minimizes the risk for heart diseases. It is advisable that in the preparation of vegetables and fruits, they are not supposed to be heated or left in the oven to overcook, the reason being that heat quickly destroys the vitamins. For a good health therefore, scientist advice that a human being should eat five kinds of vegetables and two kinds of fruit every day to maintain good health.

Many people prefer taking meat home for supper every day, however, what they do not know is that no matter how luxurious is to be seen taking kilos of meat daily the health effects are on their way soon. Who has never heard of health effects of meat? A scientist has proven that red meat contains compounds that can cause cancer. Isn’t cancer among the top killers in the world? Amino acids contained in fruits and vegetables together with the other main elements help in the reduction of risks to cancer, which result from frequent consumption of red meat.

Vegetables and fruits have no scientific proven health effects and therefore people are advised to take vegetables and fruits more often than red meat. In some countries in Africa and Asia, fruits and vegetables are still the traditional ones collected in the bushes. However, in America, vegetables and fruits are grown from the greenhouses and in plantations. The traditionally grown fruits and vegetables are recommended by the nutritionist because they are rich in amino acids.

Vegetables and fruits are in high demand, and as such, the companies like the Nintendo Company in the USA is trying to feed the demanding population. As a way to meet the request, the company produces seeds that are genetically engineered. The genetically modified vegetables and fruits grow very fast than the traditionally grown. They can meet the demand of the population, especially in the central cities. But what else apart from meeting the demand and satisfying the community? The genetically modified vegetables and fruits are not fit for human consumption due to the chemicals used in the process.

The fruits are therefore the primary sources of nutrients that our body yearns. A god example is the amino acids found in vegetables and fruits. Amino acids are essential in major body functions. The vitamins also contained in the fruits and vegetables are necessary for the immunity development. Traditionally grown vegetables and fruits are the most recommended by the nutritionists than the genetically engineered. Vegetables and fruits are essential for the daily dietary intake. They help in the prevention of some major illnesses such as cancer and heart attack or high blood pressure.
